Creating an account takes just a few minutes. A guided wizard walks you through setting up your profile, notification preferences, and email verification.

Starting sign-up
When you first open the app you will see the login screen. Tap Sign up to begin creating your account.
The sign-up wizard guides you through four steps. You can cancel at any time by tapping Cancel — you will be asked to confirm, and if you proceed, you will be signed out and returned to the login screen.
Step 1 of 4 — Profile information
Fill in your profile details and accept the privacy policy, then tap Next.
Step 2 of 4 — Notifications
Choose how you want to stay updated:
- Marketing emails — Receive news and promotions from us
- Notification emails — Receive important updates about your account and groups
You can change these preferences at any time under Profile → Notifications.
Tap Next to continue.
Step 3 of 4 — Verify your email
A verification email has been sent to the email address you registered with. Click the link in the email to verify your address.
Tip: You can continue signing up now and verify your email later. Tap Continue to skip this step for the moment.
Step 4 of 4 — Activate trial
You can start a free trial to explore the full features of the service.
- If your email is already verified, tap Activate trial to start
- To skip this step, tap Finish sign up — you can activate a trial later in your account settings
Note: Trial activation is currently only available on the web app at app.makeharmony.com.
Resuming an incomplete sign-up
If you start signing up but do not complete all steps, the app will offer to continue where you left off the next time you log in.
