Group settings

The Settings tab is only visible to Administrators. It controls feed posting permissions, public visibility, and the option to permanently delete the group.

Opening settings

Mobile

  1. Go to the Groups tab and make sure the correct group is active.
  2. Tap Settings in the sub-navigation bar.

Web

  1. In the top navigation, click My library, then click the Groups tab.
  2. Click your group's name from the list.
  3. Click the Settings tab.

General settings

Admin-only posts

When on, only Administrators can publish new posts to the group feed. Members and Choirmasters can still read and react to existing posts — they just cannot create new ones.

When off (default), all members can post to the feed.

Use this to keep the feed focused on official announcements.

Mobile: toggle the switch next to Admin-only posts.
Web: use the toggle in the General settings section.

The change takes effect immediately — no save step required.

When on (default), the group appears in public search results and group listings, making it discoverable by anyone.

When off, the group is hidden from listings and search results. Only people who have a direct invitation link can find and join the group.

Use this for private, audition-only, or invitation-only groups.

Mobile: toggle the switch next to Visible in search.
Web: use the toggle in the General settings section.

Danger zone — Delete group

Permanently deletes the group and all its content: feed posts, playlists, and member records. This cannot be undone.

Requirements:

  • You must be online. The delete button is disabled without a network connection.

Steps:

  1. Scroll to the Danger zone section in Settings.
  2. Tap / click Delete group.
  3. Confirm in the first alert that appears.
  4. Confirm again in the second alert (final safeguard).
  5. The group is deleted. If you belong to other groups you are switched to one of them automatically. If not, you are taken to the empty Groups screen.

Editing the group profile

Group name, description, contact email, cover image, and location are managed from the About tab, not from Settings.

Mobile: About tab → tap Edit.
Web: Click the About group tab → click Edit group.
